The NVA Field Operations Team

Meeting the Needs of Our Hospitals

NVA is dedicated to giving all our veterinary hospitals the resources they need to provide the highest level of care to our pet and clients. Our Field Operations team is responsible for making sure each and every one of our hospitals has everything they need to accomplish this goal. We support both business and culture across nearly 700 sites today, and work to ensure our teams have the resources and support to do incredible things.

You do not need to be in veterinary medicine to be a part of this vital, dynamic team. But you must have strong leadership and problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn and grow, a passion for pets and a drive to make things happen. We love to hire leaders with an ownership mindset.

We Love People Who Love Pets!

Director of Operations (Division Leader-DL)

Our Director of Operations (Division Leader-DL) play a critical role in the success of our hospital sites and our company. That said, we are looking for top-caliber, elite leaders who have a proven track record in driving results through strategic, collaborative and improvement-focused management.

At NVA, our Directors are given autonomy and full ownership of their portfolio. They are empowered to think strategically and make decisions that impact operational effectiveness and efficiencies at their hospital sites. They are also empowered to do what they believe is right for their hospitals and teams. Perhaps of greatest importance, our Directors are servant leaders who serve their teams so they can be successful.

They must be committed to doing what’s best for pets and the people who care for them, not just what’s best for business.

Manager of Regional Operations (MRO)

A Leader in a Growing Pet Industry

Over 60 percent of American households own pets and collectively spent more than $100 billion on them in 2020. And the industry shows no sign of slowing down. Younger generations are waiting longer to get married and have children and, in the meantime, are “humanizing” their pets and spending more than ever on their non-human family members.

There is a high level of M&A and investment activity, driven by the realignment of service providers, pet retailers and marketers who are reacting to consumer trends and a healthy e-commerce market. Additionally, there is a proliferation of pet-tech platforms, services and products targeting digitally savvy businesses and consumers across both veterinary health and non-medical pet care services.
