Conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, compassionate communication around euthanasia, value-focused financial dialogue, and effective phone triage — all brought to life through engaging activities and real-world roleplays. You'll also hear from Hills on nutrition and IDEXX on diagnostics, with optional add-ons including guest speakers and job aids to further support your team.

🎯 Course Details (Sept. 2-4):

This course is open to all CSRs and Techs. Please note this training is not RACE-approved and incurs a cost of $125.00, billed directly to your hospital at the time of registration. Travel and hotel accommodations are not included.

About Your Instructors:

Jamie Rauscher, LVT is a Licensed Veterinary Technician, part owner, and Hospital Manager at a 24/7 GP/ER practice in Atlanta, where she has worked for over 20 years. She currently serves as President of NAVTA and Vice President of the GVTAA, and holds certifications including RECOVER, Fear Free Elite, Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional, and Hospice and Palliative Care.

Sam Valdez joined the wonderful world of veterinary medicine in 2012 and is currently Lead Receptionist at Belmont Shore Veterinary Hospital in CA. She started her journey by cleaning kennels at a large/small animal hospital in rural Texas before moving up to technician and taking on the receptionist role– a little bit of everything! Sam has a BA in Television Post Production and Editing from Columbia College Chicago. One of her many passions includes combining her love of animals and her talents with graphic design to serve other NVA hospitals. In her free time, she plays video games, collects vinyl, and camps with friends. Sam’s top priority is client/patient experience as she wants every pet parent to feel cared for and informed.
