Funniest Client Experience: Working in high quality high volume spay/neuter in rural Kentucky you see a lot of things. The first thing that you notice when a patient arrives is the type of carrier or kennel that they come in. While it is usually a dog that is comically large for the kennel the owners bring for them to recover in, one morning we took in a cat that was being transported in a salad spinner. Most importantly, the kitten was perfectly happy with this type of "carrier", but we did have to send him home in one of the rescue's extra kennels. Other alternative "carriers" I've seen include a Funyuns box, a grocery bag and various clothes hampers.

Advice for new grads: Trust your knowledge base and use all of your resources (including your mentor!) to help you be the best doctor you can be! Please know that you are not alone in this journey through veterinary medicine.
